NLP Series Part 2

People explore the world using their senses...the sense data passes through various filters before becoming a map...this map represent the reality of the individual...

A hungry beggar sees a mouldy bread as appetitive...while a rich man sees a mouldy bread as aversive...

Some basic filters aka Behavioral Frames

Outcome Vs Problem (i.e asking how or asking why)
Feedback Vs Failure (i.e there is no such things as failure, only results...these results will act as feedback)
Possibilities Vs Necessities (i.e focusing on choices or constraints)

Learning -> Unlearning -> Relearning

Unconscious Incompetence -> Conscious Incompetence -> Conscious Competence -> Unconscious Competence

To learn something, one has to consciously process the relevant information...
As something is mastered, one is able to subconsciouly perform...
To relearn something, one has to consciously process the relevant information again to replace/enhance the old information

Learning how to use the chopsticks using the right hand...initially, need to consciously note the positioning of the fingers...the amount of strength to use for each fingers etc...gradually, using the chopsticks become very easy, almost automatic...
Relearning how to use the chopstick using the left hand...the whole process repeats...
